What does connecting a tool actually do?

It brings that vendor's numbers and actions into SKYA. It does not embed their interface.

A connector brings a vendor's data and tools into SKYA surfaces: your reports, the assistant, your project views. It does not embed their dashboard inside ours, and it is not a scraper.

You connect with your own vendor account. Keys are stored server-side, encrypted, and are never shown in the browser again. Disconnect at any time and the credential is deleted.

Why some say "coming soon"

Some vendors only offer sign-in flows we have not finished building, or require an application we have not completed. The catalog shows which are live today.
