Jimdo + SKYA: Covered through the domain edge.
Overview
Counts how often each AI assistant fetches a page from your site, which URLs they take, and which ones they ask for that no longer exist. Being cited proves an assistant read you. Silence does not say whether it never came or came and chose someone else, and this is what separates the two.
How Jimdo is covered
Jimdo exposes no server logs of its own, so there is no direct integration to build and no vendor has one. Coverage comes from the edge instead: put the domain behind Cloudflare and every AI crawler visit is counted exactly as it would be on any other platform.
Set up CloudflareHow it works
- 1Works when your domain's DNS is on Cloudflare, which is free to set up. Jimdo hosting sits behind Cloudflare's own network, but that is Cloudflare's account, not yours, and SKYA cannot read it. A site still on a jimdosite.com address cannot be, so put it on your own domain first.
- 2To put your domain on Cloudflare: create a free Cloudflare account, add the domain, copy the two nameservers it gives you into your registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains) in place of the current ones, and leave the proxy switched on for the site records. Your site keeps working; the change takes up to a day to settle.
- 3Jimdo is covered through Cloudflare, the edge in front of your site, rather than from inside Jimdo itself.
- 4In Cloudflare, create an API token that can read analytics. The exact permission and where to click are below.
- 5Paste the token and the zone id into SKYA. We check it against Cloudflare before saving it.
- 6Crawler history appears immediately, as far back as your Cloudflare plan retains, and keeps updating daily.
Where to find what Jimdo asks you for
- API token
- My Profile, then API Tokens, then Create Token. Use Create Custom Token.
- Permission it needs: Account, then Account Analytics, then Read. Add Zone, Analytics, Read for the domain you want tracked.
- Open that page
- Zone ID
- Domains, pick the domain, then on its Overview page scroll to the API section near the bottom. Zone ID is there with a copy button beside it.
- Open that page
Key benefits
- Covers your Jimdo site without installing anything in Jimdo or changing how it deploys.
- History arrives with the connection, so the first screen has real numbers on it rather than an empty chart.
- Works on every Cloudflare plan including the free one, with no code on your site.
- Read-only and scoped by you to a single zone, so connecting it changes nothing about how your site runs.
