Vercel + SKYA: Point a Vercel log drain at your SKYA webhook and every AI crawler request is counted as it happens, static pages included. Drains need a Vercel Pro or Enterprise plan.
Overview
Counts how often each AI assistant fetches a page from your site, which URLs they take, and which ones they ask for that no longer exist. Being cited proves an assistant read you. Silence does not say whether it never came or came and chose someone else, and this is what separates the two.
How it works
Before you start: Vercel Drains need a Pro or Enterprise plan, and Vercel bills drained data.
- 1On your project's AI Crawler page in SKYA, open More ways to send visits, create a webhook key and copy the webhook address.
- 2In Vercel, open Team Settings, then Drains, add a Logs drain to a custom endpoint, paste the address, choose JSON, and add the header Authorization: Bearer followed by your key.
- 3Pick the static, function and edge sources. AI crawler visits are counted from the next request; Vercel sends no history from before the drain.
Where to find what Vercel asks you for
- SKYA webhook key
- In SKYA, on the project's AI Crawler page, under More ways to send visits, choose Create a key. SKYA shows it once and keeps only a fingerprint.
- Permission it needs: It can only add crawler visits to that one project. Revoke or replace it on the same page at any time.
Key benefits
- Crawler visibility for an app you deploy, without touching the app.
- Static pages are counted as well as functions, which is most of what an AI crawler fetches.
- Only AI crawler requests are kept; the rest of the drain is counted and dropped.
