How does SKYA read my results in my own city?
Set your city under Project Settings. Where an AI platform can be asked from a city, your existing prompts are asked from yours at no extra price, and the Local tab shows the map pack, who AI names, the sources it reads and your listing.
Every plan, the trial included, reads your existing prompts in your own city at no extra price. Set the city in Project Settings, in the Area field under the country.
Where each answer was asked
Google's AI Overview and AI Mode can be asked from a city, so from the next reading your prompts are asked from yours, and the answer is labelled "Asked from" your city. ChatGPT, Perplexity, Copilot and the other AI platforms take a country only, so they are never asked from a city; when the question itself names your city, the answer is labelled "named in the question". A city the search index cannot place is read country-wide and labelled only by the question.
The Local tab
Map pack shows Google's top three beside each question, whether you are in it, the rating and reviews, and whether AI also named each business. Who AI names lists every business AI showed or named about your city, with how many answers named it, and puts forward rivals you can track or reject. Sources lists the sites AI cites for your city, local directories first. Listing check compares what AI says about you (address, phone, rating, open or closed) with your public listing, and turns each difference into steps.
How a match is decided
A business is you only when it carries your site, your listing's phone, or your Maps id. A card that shares only your name is shown as a possible match and never counted. A directory where no page about you was cited reads "Not cited", never "not listed", because SKYA does not read the directory itself.
Readings and verdicts
Every figure says how many answers it rests on. The same question asked twice names different businesses most of the time, so one reading is shown as a reading and a verdict waits for ten answers over three days.
