Where does the prompt volume figure come from?
It is how often people ask that prompt of AI in the country your project tracks. Full questions with no volume fall back to their core phrase.
Each tracked prompt shows an estimated monthly AI search volume for your project's market, modelled from search data, with an Estimate label. A long, specific question often has no volume of its own; SKYA then reads the volume of the question's core phrase (the words after "how do I", "what is the best" and so on) and shows that.
The figure is rounded to two significant figures, because it is a model and not a count: 1,234 is shown as 1,200. "Under 10 or no figure" means the estimate came back below 10 a month or with no figure at all; the two are stored the same way today. "Not measured" means the lookup has not run for that prompt yet. Volume is refreshed with each tracking run, and rows an earlier run left blank are filled on the next one.
