What is AI visibility?
One percentage: of the AI answers we read, the share that named you, always printed with both counts.
AI visibility is one number. Of every AI answer we captured in the window, it is the share that named your brand, and it is always printed with both counts, for example "34 of 126 answers name you", so you can check it yourself.
What counts
- The denominator is answers, not prompts. One prompt asked on two AI platforms is two answers.
- An answer counts once, however many times it names you.
- Only the AI platforms on your plan are read: 4 AI platforms on Spotlight and Brand, 5 on every agency plan.
Bands
- 60% and above: leading.
- 30% to 59%: competing.
- 10% to 29%: starting to show up.
- Below 10%: not showing up.
The percentage and its counts show from the first answers read; the band word waits until the reading is thick enough to call. Before any answer has been read the panel says "Not measured yet" rather than showing zero. A measured zero, none of the answers naming you, is shown as 0% with its counts, because that is the reading you most need to see.
Why there is no score out of 100
Until 22 September 2026 SKYA also printed a score out of 100 blended from three weighted parts. It read well above what the answers showed, so it was retired, and this percentage is the one figure on every surface.
